Cal Phil Music, Martinis and the Maestro is the perfect blend of intimate chamber music, cocktails and fun. Each year, we present a wide variety of ensembles, diverse programming and the fun, sophisticated and welcoming atmosphere you’ve come to expect from the California Philharmonic. These concerts take chamber music out of the concert hall and back to the type of environment in which it was originally conceived for, allowing everyone to be close to the music and the musicians. Spring into music!  Cal Phil’s Concertmaster Pavel Farkas joins forces with musical friends and collaborators including Cal Phil Principal Oboist Francisco Castillo, Cal Phil Principal Cellist Dennis Karmazyn and pianist Stephen Moore for a diverse array of violin showpieces and chamber music masterworks.  It’ll be a dazzling end to this year’s amazing series of chamber music concerts that will leave you wanting more—but you’ll have to wait till 2009 when we start Cal Phil Music, Martinis and the Maestro up again.
