Natural splendor doesn’t get any better than the beautiful Los Angeles County Arboretum & Botanic Garden. This lush 127-acre park is home to plants from around the globe, historic sites including the famous lagoon (featured in Fantasy Island and the Tarzan movies), Queen Anne Cottage and The Arboretum’s own signature flock of peacocks. Located just east of Pasadena off the 210 freeway, The Arboretum’s convenience factor includes easy access and plentiful parking. Summer evenings filled with music and magic

The sounds of summer ring out in glorious style at the world-famous Los Angeles County Arboretum & Botanic Garden in Arcadia, bringing thousands of eager music lovers together for extraordinary evenings filled with entertainment, enlightenment and the excitement of great music..

You’ll be surrounded by The Arboretum’s lush landscape and the backdrop of the San Gabriel Mountains as you enjoy the music, the atmosphere and your favorite food and beverage. Choose from tables, chairs or lawn area seating, as best suits your party’s needs. Come early and enjoy a gourmet meal prepared on-site or bring your own favorites from home. Concerts begin at 7:30 pm, with live jazz and dining from 5:30 pm.

The Fab Four bring the Beatles to the Cal Phil stage!  It’ll be Beatlemania at The Arboretum as Maestro Vener leads the orchestra—and our four special guests—through some of the greatest songs ever written.  What’s more, we’re giving the world premiere of Roger Allen Ward’s thrilling first symphony.  All that, plus a dramatic collaborative rendition of Bach’s Toccata and Fugue in d minor with organist Phil Smith.  With a lineup like that, you know you must be glad.

The foothills come alive as singers Khori Dastoor and Danny Gurwin join Maestro Vener Cal Phil for your favorite songs from your favorite hit shows.  It’s a trip through blockbuster after blockbuster and a whole army of Tony awards as we survey music from throughout the history of the musical theatre.  Ms. Dastoor took down the house last year with her rendition of Bernstein’s Glitter And Be Gay from Candide—don’t miss her performance this year. Mr. Gurwin is known for his Broadway roles in The Scarlet Pimpernel, The Full Monty, Little Woman and Kismet.  No doubt about it, this will be an evening of stars—both on stage and above it!
